Jimmy Bark

Jimmy Ray Bark, 68, of Salina, passed away on Saturday, August 14, 2017 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born on August 11, 1949 in Claremore, Oklahoma; the son of Charles Foreman Bark and Lavina Mae Morehead. He worked most of his life as a roofer and carpenter. He enjoyed being outdoors and working in the flower garden and around his house. He also enjoyed going to play Bingo and spending time with his family. He leaves behind many memories for his family and friends to remember.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 18, 2017 in the Blue Springs Church in Salina with Reverend Lorne Beck officiating. Burial will follow in the Ross - Mayes Cemetery with Colbey Ross, Wyatt Rice, Chance Wall, Doyle Ketcher, Timothy Maddox, and Jeremy Cooper serving as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearers will be Danny Fisher, Shawn Fleming and Kalan Bolinger. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 17, 2017 in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel. He is survived by his wife, Loetta Bark of the home; sons, James Bark and wife Laronna of Salina, Oklahoma and Mitchell Bark and wife Rebecca of Salina, Oklahoma; daughters, Jamie Falling and husband Chad of Salina, Oklahoma, Maggie Bark of Salina, Oklahoma, Anna Vann - Guinn of Peavine, Oklahoma, and Sharron Bolinger of Pryor, Oklahoma; sisters, Charlene Ketcher and husband Mitchell of Salina, Oklahoma, Cherry Bark of Peggs, Oklahoma, and Cathy Wall and husband Randy of Locust Grove, Oklahoma; 17 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
