Jimmy Leon Casey, 72, of Pryor, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at his home. He was born on October 5, 1948 in Pryor, Oklahoma; the son of Jeff Casey and Junieb (Vaughn) Casey. Jimmy attended Pryor, Bitter Creek and Adair Schools and graduated in 1966. He started attending Okmulgee Tech and then went into the United States Navy and faithfully served his country from September 1968 until September 1972 serving in Vietnam. Jimmy had two beautiful daughters that he loved dearly. He moved back to Oklahoma and worked for many years for the Pryor Foundry and also for Crosby. He married Stephanie Smith on July 6, 1984 in Miami, Oklahoma and they have celebrated 36 wonderful years together. Jimmy loved woodworking, he built the house that he and Stephanie lived in as well as most of the furniture inside of the home. He loved to travel, go to movies, and eating out. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who leaves behind many memories for his family to cherish.

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Stephanie Casey of the home; daughters, Ilea Casey and Billy Carter of Pineville, Missouri and Jamie Morrison and husband Chris of Adair, Oklahoma; brother, Doug Casey of Pryor, Oklahoma; sisters, Patricia Stafford of Pryor, Oklahoma, Linda Combs and husband Don of Texas, and Sandera McAnally and husband Allen of Adair, Oklahoma 4 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Jeff Casey; mother, Junieb Casey; step – father, Everit Bible; brother, Curtis Casey; and sisters, Betty Stafford and Carol Hall.
