Jimmy Douglas King

Jimmy Douglas King passed away on June 6, 2024, in Pryor, Oklahoma. He was born on April1, 1956, in Claremore, Oklahoma to Jack and Frances King. 
 
Jimmy was a man of simple pleasures who touched the lives of many with his kind heart and helping hand. He was known for daredevil spirit and his hilarious sense of humor. He had a love for joking around and bringing smiles to the faces of those around him. His passion for watching WWE wrestling brought him joy and entertainment. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy of kindness, humor, and love for life will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind. May he rest in peace.

Jimmy is survived by his brother, Ervie King; sisters, Linda Cooper and Barbara Hinkle; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Frances King; sisters, Erma Jean “Cookie”, Glenda Sue “Sue”, and Colleen; and brothers, Charlie, Leo, and Homer. 
 
 Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Shipman’s Funeral Home in Pryor.
