Joanne Weierman

Joanne Marie Weierman, 66, of Miami, Oklahoma passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2012 in Pryor, Oklahoma. She was born on August 10, 1946 in Los Angeles, California, the daughter of Emil and Ada (Steele) Bystrom. She is the youngest of five siblings. Joanne graduated from Brigham Young University in Utah with her Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition, and Northeastern State University in Tahlequah with her Master's Degree in Psychology. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Miami, Oklahoma. She was a very active member of the church. Joanne was a devoted mother who adored her seven children. Joanne worked as a counselor for Grand Lake Mental Health. She was a lovely, intelligent lady who helped so many and was loved by all. Her smile and optimism will be missed. Funeral Services for Joanne will be held on Friday, October 5, 2012 at 2 p.m. in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Pryor, Oklahoma with Bishop Rick Roberts officiating. Interment will be in the Graham Memorial Cemetery with Will Weierman, Ben Weierman, Thomas Weierman, Jared Weierman, Christian Weierman and Jacob Weierman serving as casket bearers. She is survived by her children, Will, Anna, Jacob, Ben, Jared, Emily and Thomas; her brothers, Emil and David; her sisters, Judy and twin sister, Jeanie; her grandchildren, Angel, Christian, Marissa, Cameron, Austin, Isabella, Brooklyn, Ameerah, Grace, Carson and Brennon; her great grandchildren, Madison, Layla and Emma; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ada and Emil Bystrom.
