Jody Gordon Nickels

Jody Gordon Nickels, 59, was born on June 11, 1964, in Massillon, Ohio, to Fredrick and Berdina (Fry) Nickels. He passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
 
Jody lived his life to the fullest, captivating everyone around him with his carefree nature and infectious sense of humor. He reveled in bringing smiles to others' faces and had a talent for turning any moment into a cherished memory.
 
A man of simple pleasures, Jody enjoyed listening to music, watching movies, and riding his four-wheeler. However, above all else, his heart belonged to his family. He had a strong devotion to his loved ones, especially his grandchildren. He leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter that will be forever treasured by those who knew him. 
 
Jody Nickels is preceded in death by his father, Fredrick Nickels; sister, Terri Lynn Nickels; and brothers, Jason Nickels and Dean Nickels.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Esther Nickels; daughters Tiffany Allen of Fort Worth, TX, Rachel Nickels of Canton, Ohio, and Jody L. Worthington and husband Brian of Adair, OK; Mother, Berdina Nickels of Fort Worth, TX; brothers, Rocky Nickels and wife Mindi of Massillon, OH, Darrin Nickels, and Scott Nickels and wife Tammy of Fort Worth, TX, and Mike Nickels and wife Lori of Canton, OH; sister, Paula Stoll of Louisville, OH; along with 10 adoring grandchildren. He also leaves behind his best friend, Dale Airhart and wife Fay of Giddings, TX.
