Joe Bob Ingersoll, 96, of Pryor, passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2018 in Catoosa. He was born on December 2, 1921 in Salina, Oklahoma; the son of Earl and Della (Brown) Ingersoll. He faithfully served his country in the United States Army from 1942 until 1945. He was stationed in Normandy, Northern France and Northern Europe. Bob owned and operated Ingersoll's Phillips 66 Gas Station in Pryor and Salina for many years, and then went to work as a Millwright until his retirement. After retirement, Bob enjoyed gardening and spending time outdoors. He was a member of the Pryor Church of Christ and looked forward to attending services. He loved his family and cherished each moment he had to spend with them.

Bob is survived by his son, Bob Ingersoll and wife Charlotte of South Carolina; daughter, Charlotte Sharp and husband Gary of Jenks, Oklahoma; sisters, Rita Fischgrabe of Oklahoma, Marcella Jones of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Agnes Holt of Pryor, Oklahoma; 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Della Ingersoll; wife, Teresa Ingersoll, 4 brothers, 2 sisters, and 2 grandchildren.
