John Kimberly Cass passed away on September 27, 2024, at his home in Bernice, Oklahoma. He was born on April 27, 1950, in Shreveport, Louisiana at Barksdale Air Force Base.

He attended Derby High School in Derby, Kansas, from which he graduated in 1969. John spent four years with the U.S. Air Force, and worked more than 30 years as a Structural Designer with The Boeing Company.

John married in 1970 to Linda (Herrman) Cass of Mulvane, Kansas and separated in 2000. John is survived by his two son’s; Mark and Tracy Cass; Daughter’s-in-law; Jenny Cass (Mark) and Jessica Cass (Tracy); eight grandchildren; Brett, Emily, and Cade Cass (Mark) and Kylie Domino (husband, Caleb Domino), Makenna, Ryan, Kaleb and Noah Cass (Tray), and one great granddaughter, Sage Domino.

He was born to his parents, Bobby Ray Cass (Vinita, Okla.) and Delores (Frankenberger) Cass. Siblings; Stephen Cass, Mike Cass, and Lorrie (Cass) Ketchersid.

Throughout his life he spent extensive time reflecting on the existence of God and the theories laid out in science, writing many articles based on these topics. He had an interest in Astrology and Genealogy to further understand our family tree and our Cherokee Heritage.

He was a strong supporter of St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital and the Wounded Warrior Project. If you’d like to give a memorial gift, please do so by giving to either of these organizations.
