John Paul Farmer, known affectionately as JP, passed away on January 11, 2024. He was a loving individual who brought joy to those around him. JP's kind nature and contagious smile will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and the community he touched.
Born on September 13, 1996, JP grew up in Chouteau and made a lasting impression on everyone he encountered. He pursued a career at Dollar General and had recently been promoted to assistant manager. His work ethic and dedication were evident as he excelled in his role. JP's passion for making people happy was unparalleled. He had a remarkable ability to bring smiles to the faces of those around him. Whether it was through his contagious laughter or his compassionate gestures, JP had a way of brightening any room he entered. He deeply cherished his family. He embraced every opportunity to spend time with them and create lasting memories together. His genuine love and unwavering support will forever remain in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know him. In addition to his caring nature, JP was also known for his various hobbies and interests. He was an avid gamer, immersing himself in virtual worlds where he could let his creativity soar. JP also possessed immense artistic talent and found joy in expressing himself through different artistic mediums. Recently, he discovered a love for wood working, showcasing his innate ability to create beauty out of raw materials.
JP is survived by his mother Jewell Farmer of Chouteau; sisters Rita Baez of Chouteau and Janine Farmer of Pryor; grandfather John Farmer of Pryor; 3 uncles; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandmother Donna Farmer and uncle William Cummings.
As we mourn the loss of JP, let us remember him for the incredible person that he was—a beacon of positivity and kindness in our lives. His legacy serves as a reminder that simple acts of love can leave an indelible impact on others.
