JohnAnn Forkner

JohnAnn Forkner, 81, of Chouteau, passed away on Thursday, August 22nd, 2024. John married the love of her life Burl Dean Forkner on January 13th, 1961, in Boatman, OK. Together Burl and John had two daughters Elizabeth and Norma, who in turn gave them 6 granddaughters, numerous great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren. John spent her life hunting, fishing, and enjoying the outdoors with Burl. She especially enjoyed time spent fishing with her best friend Janet Clenaghan when she would visit from England. Janet and John’s friendship lasted close to 70 years.

She was born August 26, 1942, in Claremore, OK to Fannie Easky. She is proceeded in death by her husband Burl, her mother Fannie, her sisters Linda, Patsy, and Anita, her brothers Caleb, Tommy, and Lonnie. She is survived by daughters Elizabeth and Norma, her sister Kelly, her brother Andrew, her granddaughters Dixie, Bobbie, Kristen, Micki, Dacota, and Sadie.

John has gone to be with Burl for eternity. Love you Kiddo!
