John Hardin

January 27, 1961 — January 24, 2017

John Wesley Hardin, 55, of Pryor, passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 in Tulsa. He was born on January 27, 1961 in Sacramento, California; the son of Grover E. Hardin and Mary R. (Garrett) Hardin. He grew up and attended school in Traverse City, Michigan. He joined the United States Army in 1983 and was discharged in 1984. He lived in Plano, Texas, then moved to Decatur, Arkansas, then on to Oaks, and finally to Pryor in 2011. John worked at American Castings in the Plant Maintenance Department. He leaves behind many wonderful memories and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 27, 2017 in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Billy Roberts officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, January 26, 2017 in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel. John is survived by his mother, Mary Hardin of Plano, Texas; sons, William Hardin of Rochester, Minnesota and Hunter Hardin and wife Tandas of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; daughters, Hedi Martin and husband Heath of Rose, Oklahoma and Rachel Hardin of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; brother, Ron Hardin and wife Amy of Williamsburg, Michigan; sisters, Linda Jolly and husband Anthony of Plano, Texas and Paula Severidt of Plano, Texas; 7 grandchildren, Jake Hardin, Kalob Murphy, Hayden Martin, Adalyn Hardin, Houstin Martin, Lauryn Hardin, Liam Hardin.
