John Keith

John Henry Keith, 89, of Pryor, passed away on October 22, 2018 in Pryor. He was born on April 1, 1929 in Hiwasse, Arkansas; the son of James Russel Keith and Gladys (Edward) Keith. John faithfully served his country in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany. John was proud of being able to serve his country. He worked as a truck driver most of his life. John enjoyed writing poems, watching western shows and movies, reading the newspaper and staying current on events. He had a strong faith in God and looked forward to attending church services. John enjoyed meeting with his family and friends, he never met a stranger. He was always willing to help his family and friends with their needs. John married the love of his life, Roena Mae, on May 7, 2010 in Spavinaw. They enjoyed reading the bible every day together and making home cooked meals. He was a wonderful husband and friend who will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

John is survived by his wife, Roena Keith of the home; sister, Carolyn Moore of West Virginia; and many cousins, nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, James Russel Keith and Gladys Edward; and sister, June Cover.
