John Teehee Jr.

John Dewey Teehee, Jr., 57, of Pryor, passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 in Pryor, Oklahoma. He was born on February 9, 1958 in Claremore, Oklahoma; the son of John Dewey Teehee, Sr., and Lydia Jean (Dawson) Teehee. He enjoyed spending time playing horseshoes and watching and playing softball. He was a fan of OU football and building and working on engines on cars. John was a self taught guitar player and enjoyed working with his hands. John also had two puppies he was so very fond of, Lacy and Gus. He looked forward to each moment he had to spend time with his family and friends and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He leaves behind many wonderful memories and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. No formal services are planned at this time. John is survived by his wife, Christa Teehee of the home; son, Brandon Teehee and wife Megan of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; daughter, Monica Teehee of Rogers, Arkansas; brothers, Tom Teehee and wife Juanita of Jay, Oklahoma and Michael Teehee of Vinita, Oklahoma; sisters, Sharon Dawes and husband Kevin of Baxter Springs, Kansas, Nora Justice and husband Rusty of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Sondra Littlebear and husband Grant of Jay, Oklahoma, and Sandra Teehee of Jay, Oklahoma; one granddaughter on the way, Mahayla Teehee; many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death his parents, John Teehee, Sr., and Lydia Teehee.
