John "Tuffy" Marble, Jr.

John Marble Jr., 69, of Stilwell, passed away Monday, December 9, 2019 at his home in Stilwell, Oklahoma. He was born on February 15, 1950 in Claremore, Oklahoma; the son of John Marble and Pearl (Backwater) Marble. He worked as a welder most of his life. John faithfully served his Country in the United States Marine Corp, serving two tours in Vietnam. He enjoyed going to the casino, fishing, and walking in the woods. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

Graveside Services will be held on Monday, December 16, 2019 at 2 p.m. in the Euwasha Cemetery in Kenwood, Oklahoma with Reverend Lorne Beck officiating. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Sunday, December 15, 2019 in the Shipman’s Funeral Home Chapel. John is survived by son, J.T. Marble of Kansas; daughters, Neona Solt of San Antonio Texas and Tina Scarbough of Missouri; brothers, David Hair of Pryor, Jack Woods of Salina, Jerry Marble of Salina; and many grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Pearl Marble; and sister, Mary Folmar.
