Josephine Frances Hunt, 90, of Chouteau, passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 in Mazie, Oklahoma. She was born on September 7, 1924 in Wagoner, Oklahoma; the daughter of John Otis and Mary Jane (Erwin) Pearson. Josephine loved her family and looked forward to spending each moment she had with them. She enjoyed reading the Bible, and working word search puzzles. Josephine married Rollie Marshall Hunt on August 19, 1942. She leaves behind many wonderful memories and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 6, 2014 in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Will Logsdon officiating. Interment will be in the Hunt Cemetery with Stuart Hamilton, Cody Reynolds, Curtis McClelland, Bill Tugmon, Ty Osborne, and Gene Hunt. Honorary casket bearer will be Jake Moore. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, December 5, 2014 in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel. She is survived by her daughters, Frances Fry of Mazie, Oklahoma, Marshall "Pete" and wife Mary Hunt of Wagoner, Oklahoma, Daisie White of Sulphur Springs, Texas, and Wayne Hunt of Wagoner, Oklahoma; brother, Kenneth Pearson of Tulsa, Oklahoma; sister, Macel Ruth Bible of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Twylah Pitcock of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; 15 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; and many great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Rollie M. Hunt; 1 daughter, Jane Spradlin; parents, John and Mary Pearson; brothers and sisters; 1 grandson, Roger Hunt; 1 great grandson, Zachery Hunt; and 1 great great granddaughter, Trinity Hunt.
