Josephine Madole

Josephine Jordan Madole was born on November 19, 1920, in Mayes County, Oklahoma, to George Washington and Agnes Montressa (Landrum) Jordan. She passed away on January 21, 2011 at the age of 90 years, 2 months, and 2 days. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Billie Jo and Michael Humphrey, Harrington, Delaware, Tressa and Lonnie Smith, Pryor, Oklahoma; and Rita Ann and Chuck Sevcik, Anchorage, Alaska; son and daughter-in-law, Dallas and Sheri Madole, Pryor, Oklahoma; One sister Nannie Underwood, Belle Plaine, Kansas and one sister-in-law, Nancy Jordan, Farmington, New Mexico. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren: Matthew and Traci Madole, Ardmore; Sarah and Shane Faulkner, San Antonio, Texas; Kristen and Matt Hibbard, Pryor; Jordan Madole, Pryor; Brian Humphrey, Harrington, Delaware; Caroline and Sarah Wood, Underhill, Vermont; Adam and Amy Smith, Daniel and Wendy Smith, and Marci Smith, all of Pryor; Cameron Sevcik and Derek Sevcik, Anchorage, Alaska. She is survived by great-grandchildren - Zander and Drake Madole, Bryson and Bethany Faulkner, Dylan and Isaac Hibbard, Alora Wood, Wyatt and Hailey Humphrey, Conlan Smith, and Blake, Jackson, and Kaycen Smith. She had many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. Her husband, William "Bill" Madole preceeded her in death on April 17, 1961. She was also preceded in death by her parents brothers Tom, J.L., Rollin, Jim, Jack, Clint, B.C. Jordan and Carl. Mrs. Madole accepted Christ as her personal Savior in March, 1972 and was a member of the First Baptist Church. She devoted her life to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at 2 p.m. in the Shipman's Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Pryor, Oklahoma.
