Juanita June Nash, 86, of Pryor, Oklahoma, passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2013, in Claremore, Oklahoma. She was born on January 28, 1927, the daughter of Olin and Hazel (Gray) Maddux in Prue, Oklahoma. Juanita worked as a secretary at the Pryor Department of Human Services and also attended the Pryor First Christian Church. She enjoyed gardening and working in her yard. Juanita was also a member of the Eastern Star and loved to go bowling. She especially loved her family and being surrounded by those who she loved most. She was a lovely lady who will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 23, 2013 in the First Christian Church in Pryor, Oklahoma with Pastor Andrew Rehbein officiating. Interment will be in the Graham Memorial Cemetery with Joe Peters, Zachary Nash, Kevin Larson, Larry Peters, Mike Peters, and Rick Peters serving as casket bearers. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, August 22, 2013 in the Shipman's Funeral Home chapel. Juanita is survived by her son, Larry and wife Carol Nash, of Pryor, Oklahoma; her daughter, Kathy and husband Randy Peters of Pryor, Oklahoma; one brother, Dick Maddux of Stockton, California; two sisters, Leona Foreman of Pryor, Oklahoma and Mary Mustain of Parsons, Kansas; 3 grandchildren, Katie and husband Kevin Larson, Joe and wife Cassi Peters, and Zachary and wife Kathryn Nash; 3 great - grandchildren, Wyatt Larson, Josi Peters and Vivian Nash; also many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Ed Nash and her sister, Betty Vogle.
