Juanita Ray

Juanita Virginia Ray, 90, of Pryor, Oklahoma, passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2011 in Pryor. She was born in Kansas on April 29, 1921, the daughter of James Enyart and Flossie (Ferguson) Enyart. She married Charles Ray on February 14, 1942. Juanita spent her life making a wonderful home for her family. She enjoyed sewing and embroidery, making many of the clothes her children and grandchildren wore. She was a member of the Church of Christ, spending hours planning church activities and funeral dinners for the church family she loved. She dearly loved her family. Juanita was a lovely lady who will be so very missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Church of Christ with Brother Steve Lay officiating. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery next to her husband, Charles. Casket bearers are Corey Fryer, Chuck Fryer, Shane Ray, Olon Barnett, Henry Phillips and Preston Long. The family will receive friends and family at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday evening. She is survived by her children, Tracy Allen Ray and wife Lisa of Pryor, OK, Virginia Kaye Nunneley and husband, Ray of Broken Arrow, OK and Sherry Lynne Fryer and husband, Sid of Harvard IL; her brother, Byron Enyart of Visalia, CA; nine grandchildren, Deborah Renee Stockton, Stephanie Kaye Long, Kara Sue Robbins, Charles Albert Fryer, Corey Benton Fryer, Candra Lynne Phillips, Andrea Denise Jordan, Rebecca Annette Barnett and Shane Allen Ray; 24 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ray; her parents, James and Flossie Enyart; her son, Charles "Butch" Leon Ray; her daughter, Barbara Sue Simonson; her brothers, Vernon and Donald Enyart.
