Judy Kay Ragsdale of Eucha, formerly of Pryor, died on March 10, 2019. She was 76. Judy was born on July 14, 1942 to Henry and Tempest Haas in Baxter Springs, Kansas. Judy grew up in Pryor and graduated from Pryor High School. She married Harold “Allen” Ragsdale on May 19, 1960 in Pryor. She was a member of St. Johns Lutheran church for 57 years. Judy worked several years in retail and then worked 21 years at First Priority Bank as a vault teller, retiring in 2004. Judy and Allen moved to Eucha on Grand Lake in 2005. She enjoyed fishing, crossword puzzles, reading, crocheting, playing with her grandchildren and bird watching. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 13, 2019 in the Shipman’s Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Barry Schwiesow officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 12, 2019 in the Shipman’s Funeral Home Chapel. Judy is survived by her husband, Allen; two daughters, Lorri and Eddie Peebles of Montgomery, TX and Debbie and Richard Talamantez of Laredo, TX; grandchildren, Keely and Erin Peebles and Michael and Brittany Talamantez; great grandchildren, McKinzy Talamantez and Layla Garrett; one brother, Charles Haas of Claremore; one sister Jan Cobler of Princeton, TX. She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Tempest Haas.
