Kathy Barnwell

Kathy Leota Barnwell, 64, of Pryor, passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at her home in Pryor. She was born on January 6, 1952 in Pryor; the daughter of Dudley and Wilma (Ray) Barnwell. Kathy faithfully served her country in the United States Navy from 1974 until 1978; after being honorably discharged in Oakland, California. She worked at various factories, the last being Hem Saw, Inc. in Pryor. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles and spending time with her friends and family. She also enjoyed her pets. She leaves behind many memories and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation services will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, September 30, 2016 in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel. She is survived by her son, Jason Galvin of Tulsa, Oklahoma; brothers, Barney Barnwell and wife Vonda of Ponca City, Oklahoma and Dudley Barnwell, Jr., of Ponca City, Oklahoma.
