Kenny Faulk

January 10, 1950 — October 10, 2014

Joseph "Kenny" Faulk, 64, of Pryor, Oklahoma was born January 10th, 1950 in Crowley Louisiana to Joseph Werlin Faulk and Hortense Faulk. He was raised in Ponchatula, LA, where he graduated from Ponchatula High School. He married Bobbie (Morrison)Faulk on St. Patricks Day and they were together for almost 27 years. They made their home in Pryor, OK. Kenny was an amazing, loving, and devoted husband who loved spending time with his wife and family. Kenny worked several years as a finance manager for various car dealerships, which is where he and Bobbie met. He also owned a framing business at Home Sweet Home in Pryor with his wife and sister in law. He adored children. He coached softball, read to the children at Lincoln Schools where he was also a greeter. He volunteered at the Pryor Ministry and the Mission building funds for the needy. Kenny was a devout member of the First Church of God of Pryor where he dedicated his life to the Lord. Kenny devoted many years to serving the Youth Ministry and led many people to Christ. He loved his family more than life itself, he was the rock they clung to, and the person they went to for advice. Kenny loved riding his motorcycle, he was an avid sports fanatic and loved LSU football. His favorite pastime was spending time with his grandkids, his role as Pawpaw and Poppy was one role he was most proud of, he loved his grandchildren dearly, and he enjoyed spoiling them as well. Kenny loved to talk to people, he would listen to both sides of a story, and would always say "If everyone was as logical as me, the world would have a lot less problems." If anyone ever came to Kenny with a problem they were battling, the first thing he would ask is "Did you pray about it?" and all who knew him, knew he was already praying. Kenny is survived by his wife Bobbie of the home; his children Kristopher and wife Laura Faulk of Lafayette LA, Chad and wife Amanda Calvert of Pryor, OK, Heidi and husband Scott Brown of Pryor, OK, Meghan and husband Drew Dodson of Claremore, OK, Kandy and husband Tommy White of Florida.
