Kody Paul Kirby, 29, passed away on Monday, June 13, 2022 in Eucha. He was born on December 14, 1992 in Grove, Oklahoma; the son of Millard Paul Kirby and Patricia Tagg. Kody loved all things outdoors, especially when he was able to take a walk through the woods, swimming at the creek and going fishing. He enjoyed being around his family and friends and spending time with those he loved most. He leaves us much too soon and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 20, 2022 in the Euwasha Baptist Church in Kenwood with Pastor Dewayne Bendabout officiating. Burial will follow in the Euwasha Cemetery with Charles Tagg, Elijah Jumper, Syneka Lyman, Gunner Mouse, Koy Lewis, and Christopher Tagg. Honorary casket bearer will be Cordell Smith. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, June 19, 2022 at Shipman’s Funeral Home in Pryor. Kody is survived by his mother, Patricia Tagg and husband Andrew Baum; father, Paul Kirby; brothers, Samuel Fields, Charles Tagg, Vincent Kirby, and Jayston Kirby; sister, Ember Hodge; Uncles, Steve Kirby and Doris, Marty Tagg and Tammy, and Billy Kirby; Aunts, Melissa Tagg and Mike, Rose Harris and Eddie, and Nyoka Kirby; Great Aunt, Linda Cooper and Brad; nieces, Anna, Amber, Faith, Emma, and Quinn; and nephews, Vincent and Payton; any many more family whom loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Donald and Erma (Cookie) Tagg and paternal grandparents, Raymond Kirby and Norman Mable.
