Larry Crow

Larry Gene Crow, 73, was born on July 15, 1947 in Pryor, OK to George Allen and Lillie Rosetta (Smith) Crow. He departed this life on Thursday, April 8, 2021 in Tulsa, OK. Larry has lived in the Mayes County area most of his life. He graduated from Pryor High School with the class of 1965. After graduation Larry went on to faithfully serve his country in the United States Army; he was a Vietnam Veteran and a bronze star recipient. Larry enjoyed mowing his lawn, fishing, working on cars, and playing with his cats. He will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.

No formal services have been scheduled at this time. Visitation will be held 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M., Friday, April 16, 2021 at Shipman’s Funeral Home in Pryor, OK.

Larry is survived by: 4 daughters: Nanci Sappington and husband Keith of Pryor, Dana Crow of Muskogee, Shannon Yates of Pryor, and Cassy Shipp- Mercer and husband Scott of Louisville, KY; 2 sons: Kristopher Shipp of Pryor and Steven Shipp and wife Natasha of Locust Grove; 20 grandchildren and 5 great- grandchildren; 2 sisters: Roberta Gabbard of Miami and Mary Yates of Miami; 1 brother: Leroy Crow of Oklahoma City; and good friend Vivian Breshears of Louisville, KY. Larry was preceded in death by: his parents; 4 brothers: Donnie, Benny, David, and Virgil Crow; and 2 sisters: Dorothy Mays and Julie Mae Hoskins.
