Larry Gene James, 64, of Chouteau, passed away on Thursday, May 13, 2021 in Pryor. He was born on July 5, 1956 in Chouteau, Oklahoma; the son of Jack and Myrtle (Justice) James. He worked most of his life for Pryor Waste Management. Larry loved spending time outdoors, especially when he was able to go fishing. He also enjoyed listening to music and singing along. Larry loved his family and looked forward to each moment he had to spend with them. He attended church at Victory Christian in Chouteau and was a strong man of faith. He leaves behind many memories for his family to cherish.

Larry is survived by his wife, Patricia Gregory – James of the home; sons, Randy James of Chouteau, Oklahoma and Tommy Gregory and wife Heather of Chouteau, Oklahoma; daughters, Ranie Furimsky and husband Scott of Ada, Oklahoma, Rhonda Scott and husband Tim of Ada, Oklahoma and Robin Rollins and husband Jeff of Ada, Oklahoma; brothers, Jimmy James and wife Jeannie of Chouteau, Oklahoma and Sonny James of Chouteau, Oklahoma; sister, Anne Conatzer of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; 2 grandchildren, Thomas Gregory and Braelyn Gregory; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Myrtle James and 2 brothers.
