Lawrence Glazebrook

Lawrence Jesse Glazebrook, 81, of Chelsea, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2013 in Catoosa, Oklahoma. He was born on December 5, 1931 in Enid, Oklahoma, the son of Clarence Hood Glazebrook and Fleta Grant (Dodson) Glazebrook. He faithfully served his Country in the United States Army. Lawrence attended the New Life Assembly of God in Nowata, Oklahoma. He was member of the Claremore American Legion, Former member of the Chelsea Odd Fellows and Chelsea V.F.W. He enjoyed being outdoors, gardening and turkey hunting. He will be so very missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at 2 p.m. in the Washington Baptist Church with Reverend Arlis Henegar officiating. Interment will be in the Washington Cemetery with Eli Spence, Nathan Walker, Brownie Malone, Jon Malone, Mark Malone and Matt Malone serving as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearers are Josh Tadych and Joe Landis. The family will receive friends and family at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday evening. He is survived by his four daughters, Norah Brakebill of Chelsea, OK, Linda Rose Lewis of Mt. Home, AR, Cathy Southard of Claremore, OK and Sondra Clark of Vian, OK; two sisters, Virginia Reed of Adair, OK and Betty Zinn of Winfield, KS; eleven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine Glazebrook; one daughter, Lisa Annette Glazebrook; one brother, Clarence Glazebrook; one grandson, Lawrence "Larry" Lewis.
