Lillian Marie Haynes, 86, of Pryor, passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 in Claremore, Oklahoma. She was born on February 2, 1929 in Murphy, Oklahoma; the daughter of Arthur N. and Sleta A. (Manning) Garrison. She worked as a home care aid for DHS for many years. Lillian loved to read and enjoyed sewing, embroidering, and cooking for her family. She liked to share her belongings with her family and friends. She would look forward to playing dominoes and pitch; also going to flea markets and looking for garage sales. Lillian also had a love for traveling and would look forward to visiting new places across the United States. She loved to hunt for dishes to add to her collection. Lillian attended the First Free Will Baptist Church and enjoyed visiting with her friends and family. She leaves behind many wonderful memories and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral services for Lillian will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 11, 2015 in the First Free Will Baptist Church in Pryor with Reverend Rusty Harrison and Reverend Ray Gwartney officiating. Interment will follow in the Chouteau West Cemetery with Chad Anderson, Brett Curtsinger, Brian Curtsinger, Mike Helvie, Gene Koger, and Michael Anderson, Jr. serving as casket bearers. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, December 10, 2015 in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel. Lillian is survived by her sons, Michael and wife Delores Anderson of Adair, Oklahoma and Daniel and wife Gayla Anderson of Pryor, Oklahoma; daughter, Carolyn and husband Steve Smith of Pryor, Oklahoma; step - son, Billy Jantzen of Brogan, Oregon; sisters, Letha Haynes of Jenks, Oklahoma and Vera Smith of Chouteau, Oklahoma; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Claude Henry "Red" Haynes; parents, Arthur and Sleta Garrison, her brother, Edward Garrison; and sister, Stella Karsten.
