Linda Kay Back, a dedicated Supervisor at the Oklahoma Department of Health, passed away on November 12, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love and generosity. Born on December 14, 1947, in Pryor, OK, Linda's life was one filled with compassion and a deep devotion to her family.
Linda was known for her selflessness and unwavering commitment to her grandchildren. Despite not having much material wealth, she always found a way to shower them with love and care. Linda's grandkids were the center of her world, and she would spare no expense to ensure their happiness. Her giving nature knew no bounds, and it brought immense joy to her heart.
Apart from her dedication to family, Linda also found solace in attending church services at Adair First Baptist Church. She cherished these moments of spiritual connection and drew strength from her faith. Additionally, she had a passion for antiquing and even had booths in local antique malls. Linda had an eye for hidden treasures and took pleasure in the stories that each item held.
Linda will be dearly missed by all those whose lives she touched. She is survived by her loving son Mike Back and his wife Jennifer of Adair, OK; her sister Brenda Midgely of Adair, OK; her sister Ruth Adams of Las Vegas, NV; her brother Bob Clapper of Adair, OK; as well as five grandchildren: Talor Back, Carter Back and his wife Macy, Caden Back, Holly McDaniel and her husband Colin, and Cassidy Thompson. Linda also leaves behind four great-grandchildren who will forever cherish their memories with their beloved grandmother.
Services for Linda will be held at Shipman's Funeral & Cremation Service in Pryor, OK with Reverend Sam Wilson officiating. A family visitation will take place on November 14th, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be held the following day, November 15th, 2023, at 2:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to join together to celebrate the incredible life of Linda Kay Back during these services.
Serving as Pallbearers will be: Carter Back, Caden Back, Talor Back, Brandon Midgley, Aaron Midgley, and Bill Kennedy.
Linda's warm smile, kind spirit, and generous heart will be deeply missed. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all those who were fortunate enough to know her. May her soul find eternal peace, and may her family and friends find solace in the beautiful memories they shared with her.
