Linda Moore

Linda Mae Moore, 69, of Locust Grove, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 in Locust Grove, Oklahoma. She was born on January 6, 1947 in Stella, Missouri, the daughter of Richard Anschutz and Frances (Michael) Anschutz. She married James Moore in 1967 at Hutchison, Kansas. Linda worked in Administration for the Shady Rest Care Center and Colonial Terrace for over 36 years, retiring from Shady Rest Care Center. She enjoyed traveling and doing woodworking. Linda loved her family and all the time spent with each one. She will be so very missed by all who knew and loved her. A Memorial Service celebrating Linda's life will be held on Friday, March 25, 2016 at 2 p.m.,in the Shipman's Funeral Chapel with Chaplin Roger Miller officiating. She is survived by her husband, James of the home; her children, Kenny Moore of Pryor, OK; Renee and husband, Leon Wilsie of Locust Grove, OK; her brother, Ray Anschutz of Fayetteville, AR; her sisters, Evelyn Edmisten of Fayetteville, AR and Mary Peters of Fayetteville, AR; her grandchildren, Brittany Church and Josh Metcalf, Mrittanie Church and Robert Shelly, Makayla Fleming, Sara Wilsie, Dakota Moore; great grandchildren, Jayden, Cayson and Madayln Moore, Cameron, Tristan, Addison Rogers and Tyson Metcalf; several nieces and nephews and many friends and co-workers. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Frances Anschutz; one brother, Harold "Bud" Anschutz; grandson, Charlie Moore.
