FUNERAL SERVICES FOR LINDA ARE POSTPONED AT THIS TIME. THE FAMILY WIL RESCEDULE A MEMORIAL SERVICE AT A LATER DATE. PLEASE CHECK BACK PERIODICALLY FOR SERVICE UPDATES.
Attention: due to the ongoing corona virus issues we will be taking taking extreme cautions while carefully proceeding with the funeral for Linda Parson. There will be screening at the doors. Sanitizer and assigned seating. If you have a cough, fever or show any signs of sickness we respectfully ask that you not attend the gathering. If you have traveled out of the country or been in contact with someone who has we ask you to please refrain from coming. The elderly , those with compromised immune systems and those with chronic lung disease, asthma & heart disease are the most at risk of complications of this virus , we ask you take all precautions. These are uncharted times and we gracefully appreciate cooperation regarding the seriousness at hand. No close contact of people is encouraged , handshakes, embracing, ect.
Also, there will be no public visitation this evening, Thursday, March 19, 2020 due to the health and safety of all involved.
Linda Sue Parson, 70, of Inola, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2020, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on January 2, 1950 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; the daughter of Alvie and Gladys (Beatty) Welch. Linda married the love of her life, Carl Parson, on September 22, 1978 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. She was a faithful servant of God, ministering to shut-ins and those in need. She was an Evangelist preacher for over 50 years. Linda also enjoyed yard work; mowing, burning brush, and gardening. She loved traveling; especially taking trips to Florida with her grandchildren. Linda also looked forward to decorating her church, Collinsville Assembly of God, for every season and occasion. She was a lovely florist, interior designer, and enjoyed buying and flipping houses. Above all, the most important part of her life was serving the Lord and ministering to others. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved her.
Linda is survived by her husband, Carl Parson, of the home; son, Bradley Parson of Inola, Oklahoma; daughters, Angela Benner and husband Cass of Inola, Oklahoma, and Amanda Parson of Inola, Oklahoma; brother, Alvie Welch, Jr. and wife Sharon of Inola, Oklahoma; sisters, Alice Downey of Inola, Oklahoma, Doris Smith and husband Thomas of Coweta, Oklahoma, and Pat Thompson of Inola, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Madison Benner, Olivia Benner, Hadley Benner, Ella Potter, Ryder Potter, and Josslyn Parson; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Alvie and Gladys, brother, Joe Welch, and sister, Connie White.
