Linda Shelton

Linda Adell Shelton, 60, of Boiling Springs, South Carolina, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2015 in Adair, Oklahoma. She was born on April 4, 1955 in Pryor, Oklahoma; the daughter of Odell Large and Bobbie Newcomb. She married Utah Fox in Miami, Oklahoma on December 5, 1977; he preceded her in death in October 2008. Linda worked in Business Administration as a Secretary most of her life and received her certificate in business from the Pryor Vo tec. She enjoyed working on computers, being on facebook and playing computer games; anything that connected her with her family she loved the most. Linda also enjoyed the outdoors; especially when she was doing yard work or riding motorcycles. She moved to Boiling Springs, South Carolina in 2010; after getting engaged to Dennis West. She will be remembered for all the wonderful memories she leaves behind and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 10, 2015 in the North Elliott Church of God in Pryor with Reverend Robert Killman officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 9, 2015 in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel. Linda is survived by her fiancé; Dennis West of Boiling Springs, South Carolina; sons, Corey Stephens of Grove, Oklahoma and Ronnie Stephens of Bullard, Texas; daughter, Stephanie and husband Eddy Goebel of Adair, Oklahoma; brother, Chuck Newcomb of Tulsa, Oklahoma; sisters, Jeana Whiteis of Pryor, Oklahoma and Micki and husband Clay Larremore of Pryor, Oklahoma; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grand children; many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Utah Fox and her parents, Odell Large and Bobbie Newcomb.
