Lois Elaine Lewis, a beloved homemaker known for her heart and nurturing spirit, passed away on November 17, 2023, in Big Cabin, Oklahoma. She was 75 years old. Born in Chelsea, Oklahoma on October 23, 1948. She discovered her passion for cooking and spent countless hours perfecting her recipes. Her peach cobbler became legendary among family and friends, always eliciting smiles and satisfied bellies. Lois dedicated her life to her family. She found immense joy in spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her face would light up with an infectious smile whenever they were around. She showered them with love and affection, creating cherished memories that will forever live in their hearts. She took pride in being able to take care of her home and create a safe haven for her loved ones. But Lois's true legacy lies in the kindness she showed to everyone she met. Her gentle nature radiated warmth and comfort, making others feel at ease in her presence. She had a way of listening that made people feel heard and understood. Countless friends sought solace in her comforting words and unwavering support. Throughout her life journey, Lois taught us the power of compassion, love, and resilience. Lois Elaine Lewis will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her legacy lives on through the memories she created, the countless lives she touched, and the love she shared. May her soul find eternal peace, knowing that she made this world a better place by simply being in it. Lois is survived by her sons, Carl Cockrill and wife Angie of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Jerry Lewis of Tulsa, Oklahoma; daughters, Trisha Ford and husband Fred of Hominy, Oklahoma and Tammy Stein and husband Dave of Hominy, Oklahoma; brother, Clyde White of Chouteau, Oklahoma and sister, Rose Hundley and husband, Glen of Mazie, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Dustin King, Steven Ford, Chelsey Weatherford, Michael Reed, Britney Davis, and Colton Cockrill; numerous great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe White and Lois Lewis; husband, Earl Lewis; and brothers, Alva White, Leroy White and Abe White.
