Lola Rodena Going, age, 87, passed away on December 17, 2013 at Inola Health and Rehabilitation in Inola, Oklahoma. She was born in Sparks, Oklahoma on April 25, 1926. She was a retired nurse from Grand Valley Hospital, Pryor, Oklahoma and volunteered there for another 15 years. She was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church in Pryor. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Going. She is survived by three sons, Dale Hamilton and wife, Glenda of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; David Going and wife, Tanya of Chouteau, Oklahoma and Donnie Going of Pryor, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Annette Grant and husband, David of Prague, Oklahoma and Lauren, Marti, Tiana, Cole and Paul Going of Chouteau, Oklahoma; great grandchildren, Adam Grant of Wichita, KS and Megan Grant of Prague, OK. She is also survived by three sisters; Ruby Woodward of Pawnee, Oklahoma, Dortha Barker of Westville, OK and Irene Wallace of Pryor, OK. She enjoyed reading and walking and made many friends over the years. Her family was able to fulfill her last request that her body be donated to science. A Memorial service is planned for Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 11 a.m. in the First Free Will Baptist Church in Pryor, OK. Lunch and fellowship to follow at the church. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Sertoma Senior Center in Pryor, Oklahoma.
