Loren Pauls

Loren Ray Pauls, 73, of Claremore, passed away on Friday, April 30, 2021 at his home. He was born on November 24, 1947 in Hillsboro, Kansas; the son of LaVerne Arthur and Dorothea (Smith) Pauls. Loren faithfully served his country in the United States Army and served during the Vietnam War. After being honorably discharged, Loren married Vicki Nelson in 1970 in Galva, Kansas. They enjoyed 50 loving years together.  Loren loved his Lord and was a strong man of faith. He looked forward to attending Destiny Life Church in Claremore and especially enjoyed the many groups he was a part of. He was always available to serve his family, church, and community. Loren, Vicki, and family moved to Claremore in 1981. He started and ran air conditioning and heating specialists for almost 40 years.  Loren took great pride in his work and all of the customers and colleagues over the years.  Above all, Loren was a family man. He loved to spend time with his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He leaves behind many memories and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Loren is survived by his wife, Vicki Pauls of the home; daughters, Katie Baker and husband Michael of Claremore, Oklahoma, Mindi Mullins and husband Ryan of Claremore, Oklahoma, and Louna Coleman and husband Greg of Claremore, Oklahoma; sons Ronal Ismeus of Montreal, Canada and Gama Ismeus of Montreal, Canada; brothers, Dennis Pauls and wife Janis of Inman, Kansas and Jay Pauls of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 11 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, LaVerne and Dorothea Pauls.
