Lorene Hair

Lorene Hair, 57, of Salina, passed away on Monday, September 1, 2014 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on December 1, 1956 in Claremore, Oklahoma; the daughter of Bill and Ollie (Leaf) Pickup. Lorene enjoyed attending Pow Wows and church singings. She also liked to play games, especially marbles, washers and rummy. Lorene also enjoyed spending time outdoors and going fishing. She looked forward to spending time with family and loved every minute she had to spend with them. She leaves behind many wonderful memories and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 5, 2014 in the Blue Springs Church in Salina, Oklahoma. Interment will follow in the Grass Cemetery with Jacob Kingfisher, Billy "Chooge" Pickup, Johnny Pickup, Jr., James "Cornbread" Littledave, Bruce Pickup, and Lucas Chuckluck serving as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearers will be Andrew Easky, Dakota "Buddy" Vann, and a host of nephews. A wake service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, September 4, 2014 in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel. She is survived by her husband, Lacy Hair of the home; her daughter, Vivian Hair and boyfriend Samuel Kingfisher of Salina, Oklahoma; brothers, Eddie and wife Diane Pickup of Salina, Oklahoma, Gene and wife Jackie Pickup of Salina, Oklahoma, and Bill and wife Ester Pickup of Chouteau, Oklahoma; sisters, Virginia "Sue" Chuckluck of Peggs, Oklahoma and Brenda (Pickup) Torres of Eulysses, Kansas; 2 grandchildren, Andrew and Ana Easky, Tricia (Easky) and Dakota (Buddy) Vann; many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Ollie Pickup, brothers, Scott Pickup, John Pickup, sisters, Joyce Easky, and Mary Sue Soldier.
