Louise "Elsie" Sullateskee, 77, of Kenwood, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2013 in Kenwood, Oklahoma. She was born on August 30, 1935 in Kenwood, Oklahoma, the daughter of Willie Smoke and Annie (Wolf) Smoke. She married Billy Joe Sullateskee who preceded her in death in 1997. She worked for O'Brian Chicken Plant as an assembly line worker for several years. She was a member of the Euwasha Baptist Church. Elsie was a very giving and loving lady. Everyone loved her. She will be so very missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 in the Euwasha Baptist Church with Reverend Richard Soldier officiating. Interment will follow in the Euwasha Cemetery with Aaron Smoke, David Jumper, Peter Smoke, Jeremiah McCarter, Gerald Proctor and Michael Smoke serving as casket bearers. She is survived by her daughter, Lindsey Ann Backward of Anderson, MO; her brothers, Louie Smoke and wife, Maxine of Kenwood, OK, Charles Smoke and wife, Betty Ann of Kenwood, OK; her sisters, Ella Mae Jumper of Spavinaw, OK, Roberta Hair and husband, John of Kenwood, OK; sister-in-law, Geneva Smoke of Kenwood, OK; four grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Sullateskee; her son, Larry Dea Backward; two brothers, Johnny Lee and Leonard Smoke; one sister, Nellie Jane Boney.
