Lydia Julia Tittle, 102, of Pryor joined our Heavenly Father on April 11, 2011. She was the daughter of William Anna Wolf born on March 15, 1909. She grew up and attended school in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. She then attended Nursing School at St. John's Hospital in Tulsa, graduating in 1931. Lydia was employed by hospitals in Ft. Worth, Texas, Tulsa, Oklahoma and Grand Valley Hospital in Pryor retiring in 1974. After her retirement she then became a care giver providing individual nursing for people all over Oklahoma, retiring in 1979. She was a former member of the Methodist Faith. She loved gardening and knitting, making many lap blankets for family and friends, donating to several Veterans Hospitals in Oklahoma and Arkansas. Lydia was inducted into the Oklahoma Centenarian Club on her 100th birthday on March 15, 2009. Her motto was "The more you complain the older you get and feel." A Memorial service will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday, May 7, 2011 in the Shipman's Funeral Chapel in Pryor, Oklahoma. Catherine Keith Stephen Minister of the First United Methodist Church of Claremore will officiate. Interment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She is survived by her nephews, Andrew R. Christenson of Highland, MI, Kenneth Wolf of Bella Vista, AR; her great niece, Catherine Keith of Owasso, OK; many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by; her children, J.C. Tittle on May 9, 1998, and Judy Watson on February 29, 1972; 5 brothers; 7 sisters and her parents.
