Manse Holland, 88, of Westville (Formally of Pryor), passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 in Rogers, Arkansas. He was born on June 26, 1926; the son of Bob and Lois (Welch) Holland in Watts, Oklahoma. Manse joined the U.S. Army and faithfully served his Country. He was a WWII veteran and served in the South Pacific and part occupation forces into Japan. Manse owned and operated Dairy Queen in Pryor. He also enjoyed fishing and drinking coffee with his buddies, he also enjoyed a trip to the casino every now and then. He enjoyed spending time with his family and looked forward to each moment he had with them. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 22, 2014 in the New Hope Cemetery in Westville, Oklahoma with Jeremy Kelly officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, August 21, 2014 in the Shipman Funeral Home Chapel in Pryor. Manse is survived by his daughter, Reta and husband Rick Ogden of Pryor, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Shaley and husband Curtis Gilbey of Springdale, Arkansas, Brianna Holland of Little Kansas, Oklahoma and Manse and wife Jeri Angieri of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; numerous nieces, nephews and their children. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Lois Holland, son, Vernon Topper Holland, brother, Melton Jim Holland, sisters, Marie Hampton, Marvie Hampton, Malane Noblin, and Mildred Sally Sixkiller.

New Hope Cemetery The cemetery is located north of Westville, Oklahoma. At OK highways 62 & 59, take OK 59 north 4.8 miles to Skelly/Chewey Road sign, turn left (west), travel 5.9 miles on this paved road, you will see the New Hope Missionary baptist Church and Cemetery on your right. This is the old New Hope Missionary Baptist Church and Cemetery.
