Margaret Ann Jones, 83, went to be with the Lord on September 22, 2022. Margaret was born on December 17, 1938, in Pyror, Oklahoma and made Poquoson her home for the last 9 years. Growing up, she made special memories playing with her cousins in the creek at her aunt and uncle’s farm and playing the piano, which would lead her to become an accomplished piano player in her adult years. She attended Pryor High School where she graduated in 1957 and was named “Miss Pryor”. Margaret spent 27 years fulfilling duties of a military officer’s wife, including officer’s wives club and presiding over the wives’ group in husband’s command. She also worked dutifully as an administrative assistant to Blaine with his law practice. Margaret spent a lot of her time volunteering with the Red Cross, Family Services, the Thrift Shop, the Pryor Academic Excellence Foundation, and the GFWC Monday Forum – a local service organization which provides scholarships. Her love for animals, especially cats, was lifelong. Margaret is reunited in Heaven with her parents, Stanley and Zelda Huggans; sisters, Jennie Ashley and Judy Davidson. For over 64 years, Blaine remained a loving and devoted husband to Margaret. A day without her on this earth proved that his love for her transcended this earthly plane. He joined her in Heaven the following day, September 23. Her memory is cherished by their children, Stanley Paul Jones and wife Rebekah Jones, Gloria Jones Insley and husband Michael W. Insley, Jr.; grandchildren, Michael Wayne Insley, III and wife Lindsay B. Insley, Margaret Amelia Loveless and husband Robert G. Loveless, Mindy Blaine Beacham and husband Robert Todd Beacham, Connor Kai Jones; great-grandchildren, Landon Loveless, Luke Loveless, Lainie Loveless, Michael Insley, IV, Brady Beacham, Brantley Beacham; sister, Melissa Holman; as well as several nieces and nephews.
