Marilyn Shobert

Marilyn Beth Shobert, 78, of Pryor, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2019 at her home. She was born on July 15, 1941 in Purcell, Oklahoma; the daughter of Arnold and Pearl (Kilgore) Shadden. Marilyn worked as a Warden’s Secretary for 27 years at Lexington Assessment and Reception Center (LARC) in Lexington, Oklahoma. She lived has lived in the Pryor area for 19 years, coming from Norman. She enjoyed reading and traveling. She was a wonderful mother and will be missed by all who knew and loved her

No formal services will be held at this time. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Shipman’s Funeral & Cremation Service.

Marilyn is survived by her son, Roy Shobert of Noble, Oklahoma; daughters, Tammi Wellman of Pryor, Oklahoma and Terri McCauley of Owasso, Oklahoma; sister, Sue Shadden of California; 1 grandchild, Dani Shobert of Owasso, Oklahoma; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Shobert and her parents, Arnold and Pearl Shadden.
