Mark Christy Sr.

Mark Alan Christy Sr., 57, of Chouteau, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, March 5, 2012 in Chouteau, Oklahoma. He was born on April 27, 1954 in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Lowell P. Christy and Juanita June (Thompson) Christy. He worked as a truck driver in the trucking industry for many years. Mark enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. He was one of the youngest Eagle Scouts from Kansas City. Mark will be so very missed by all who knew and loved him. A Memorial Service will be held for Mark on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at 2 p.m. in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel with Danny Lynchard officiating. Mark is survived by his mother, Juanita Christy of Chouteau, OK; his son, Mark Alan Christy Jr. and wife, Lindsey of Texas; his brother, David and wife, Tiane Christy of Claremore, OK; his grandchildren, Vincent Douglas Christy and Brenna Renee Christy; one niece, Kayla Tiane Christy of Tulsa, OK; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded by his father, Lowell (Jack) Christy.
