Martha Pearl (Culver) Berry, 87, of Pryor, passed away at her home on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 15, 1934 in New Florence, Missouri; the daughter of Everette L. Young and Edna Lee (Franklin) Young. On May 15, 1947, she married the love of her life Ernest Everette R. Culver in Kansas City, Kansas. They were able to enjoy 32 years of marriage together. She also outlived three other husbands. Martha devoted her working time taking care of others in healthcare. She enjoyed gardening, reading, sewing, and going to church as a member at Heritage Southern Baptist Church. Most of all, she loved to spend time with her grandchildren. Martha leaves behind many memories for all to cherish and will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.
A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, January 28, 2022, in the Heritage Southern Baptist Church with Reverend Jerold Pilant officiating. Martha is survived by her daughter, Sharon Call and husband David of Pryor; sons, Allan Culver and wife Dollie of Silsbee, Texas, Robert Anthony Culver and wife Brenda of Knob Noster, Missouri; step-son, Ron Culver of Pryor; 11 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Everette and Edna; and her siblings, Gene, Eddie, Donald, Jesse, Mary Lee, Lana, and David; and son and daughter in law, Gary Ray Culver and wife Cheryl.
