Martha M. Jamison age 90, of Pryor, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, Feb. 14, 2011 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. The daughter of John Edith (Ely) Meighen, Martha was born on June 18, 1920 in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania. The Jamison family moved to Pryor in 1954 from Lake Charles Louisiana. Martha was a homemaker but also worked as a teacher's aide and piano player for 17 years at Washington School with Mr. Ward Neel. She was a very active member of the First United Methodist Church of Pryor, and choir member. She loved to cook sew. Martha moved to Tulsa in 2002 to be near her son. She will be so very missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday Feb. 19, 2011 in the Shipman Funeral Chapel in Pryor, Oklahoma with Rev. Phil Ball officiating. Burial will follow in the Graham Memorial Cemetery in Pryor. The family will receive visitors on Friday evening from 5p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Martha is survived by her son John Jamison wife Jo of Tulsa, OK; two grandchildren, Laura Kathy Jamison of Tulsa, OK; two half brothers, George Meighen of Birmingham, AL and John Meighen of Pittsburg, PA; two special friends, Pearl Helphenstine of Waynesburg, PA Evalyn Fuller of Lake Charles, LA; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Lester Jamison in 1996, her son Robert Lee Jamison in 1995 and her parents
