Martha Alma Swank, 60, of Chouteau, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 in Chouteau. She was born on June 25, 1956 in Hampton, Virginia; the daughter of William Alvin and Dorothy Evelyn (Norton) Bean. Martha graduated Amarillo High School in Texas. She then met Jerry Swank in Daingerfield, Texas and they married in 1974. They moved to Oklahoma in 1982, where they started their career and was happily married till the passing of Jerry Swank in January 2016. Martha has worked for Hem Saw for over 39 years and was the Inside Sales Manager of the company. She will be greatly missed by her Hem Saw family. Martha was an avid bowler, loved animals, especially Husky's and collected all kinds of Coca Cola memorabilia. She loved to four-wheel, she was one of the first woman to win a quad four-wheeler championship. She was a quiet, kind and loving person. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Martha is survived by her brothers, Larry and Loretta Bean of New Mexico, Douglas Roy and Kathy Bean of Virginia and Michael Bean of Tulsa. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Dorothy Bean; husband, Jerry Swank.
