Martha "Tiny" Ellen Jennings

Martha “Tiny” Ellen Jennings, 84, of Adair, Oklahoma passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at her home. Martha was born on July 21, 1938 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Everett C. and Ava D. (Peters) Singletary Grantham. She was raised in Shawnee and Arkansas City, Kansas. Martha married Ray Pace and from this union, her two sons were born. She later married Wendell Jennings on July 2, 1971 in Miami, Oklahoma and have celebrated 51 years of loving bliss. She was a member of Greenbrier Freewill Baptist Church in Adair, Oklahoma and also a member of the Eastern Star. She loved to work Sudoku puzzles, go for long car rides, and going shopping and always looked forward to having her nails done. Martha was devoted to her family and her Church. She had a strong spirit and let her opinion be known. She was a loving Navy wife for 16 years.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Shipman’s Funeral Home in Pryor. A memorial service will be scheduled for a later date. Martha is survived by her husband, Wendell Jennings of the home; sons, Billy Pace and wife Susan of Charleston, South Carolina and Donny Pace and wife Linda of Pryor, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Casey Pace and wife Betty of Charleston, South Carolina and Amber Brewster and husband Jeremy of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; 3 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Linda Lewis and husband Vaughn and Josie Scott; brothers, Roy and wife, Bev Singletary and Paul and wife, LaDonna Grantham; sister in law, Elaine Singletary; and special friends, Gary Anderson and Kathy Swift; and many more relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Ava Singletary; brother, Clyde Singletary; and sister, Pat Crawford.
