Marty Lee Burchfield, a devoted husband, loving father, cherished Papa Cheeto, son, brother, and uncle, passed away on October 16, 2023, in Pryor, Oklahoma. He was born on November 10, 1956, in Carlsbad, New Mexico. Marty's contribution to his country was marked by his service in the United States Marine Corps.
Marty's journey of life was filled with kindness, love, loyalty, and support that touched the hearts of all who knew him. His warm and caring personality created lasting bonds with his family and friends. He generously donated blood throughout the years with his O Negative, Universal blood type until he needed it himself the last few years.
Throughout his life, Marty found joy in various hobbies and interests. He treasured spending time with his grandchildren and sharing a bowl of Cheetos with them. He enjoyed working on motorcycles with his brother and riding the Harley for toy runs. Marty's professional career in paintless dent repair took him to numerous destinations around the world, including Europe and Australia. The deep affection he held for Corgis spoke volumes about his tender heart.
Marty's presence brought light into the lives of those around him. He is survived by his wife, Judy Burchfield; son, Logan McCoy of Pauls Valley, OK; daughters, Alyssa Bruce and husband Tyler of Pryor, OK; and Leila Troyer and husband Eric of Adair, OK; brothers, Thomas Burchfield of Pryor, OK, and James E. Cox of Chouteau, OK; parents, Billie and EJ Cox of Pryor, OK; and a special niece, Devon Burchfield.
In addition to immediate family members mentioned above, Marty will be deeply missed by his cherished grandchildren Abby, Maggie, Cady, Hadlee, Cameron, Kayd, Kian, Trista, and Alaynnah.
He is preceded in death by his father, Richard Dean Burchfield; and grandparents, Juanita and Elbert Farnsworth, and Ira "Slim" Burchfield and Clytee Burchfield.
