Mary Bowling

Mary Ruth Bowling, 83, of Pryor, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2022, in Pryor. She was born on February 27, 1939, in Monett, Missouri; the daughter of J.C. Woodard and Della Pauline (Statham) Woodard. Mary grew up in Pryor and graduated from Pryor High School. She met the love of her life, Billy Joe Bowling, and together they had 3 children. She was very proud of her children and grandchildren and loved to spend time with them. Mary enjoyed traveling with her husband, growing beautiful roses in her garden, and collecting precious moments figurines. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who leaves behind many wonderful memories for her family to cherish.

Graveside services for Mary will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 18, 2022, at Graham Memorial Cemetery in Pryor, Oklahoma. Mary is survived by her husband, Billy Joe, of the home; children, Joel Bowling and wife Donna of Pryor, Kevin Bowling and wife Joann of Chouteau, and Christine Chaney and husband Jerry of Arizona; 8 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, J.C. and Della; and sisters, Carolyn Glazebrook and Betty Woodard.
