Mary Hair

Mary Jane Hair, 83, of Spavinaw, Oklahoma, passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2012 in Grove, Oklahoma. Mary was born on January 30, 1929 in Spavinaw, Oklahoma, the daughter of Joe Davis and Lula (Leaf) Davis. Mary married Dave Hair on July 11, 1949 in Bentonville, Arkansas. She spent her life making a home for her family. She was a charter member of the Ribbon Baptist Church. Mary loved her church and church family. She was a member of the Women's Choir there. Mary enjoyed sewing and cooking also. She was a dear lady of faith who loved her Lord and her family with all her heart. She will be so very missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral Services for Mary will be held on Monday, February 27, 2012 at 2 p.m. in the Ribbon Baptist Church with Reverend Russell Feeling and Reverend Loyd Boney officiating. Interment will be in the Ribbon Cemetery with Johnny Jumper, David Jumper, Watie Wolfe, Terry Sharp, Brandon L. Buzzard and David Arneecher serving as casket bearers. A Wake service will be held at the Ribbon Church starting at 6 p.m. on Sunday evening. Visitation at the funeral home will be from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday. She is survived by her children, Evelyn Jumper and husband, Johnny Jumper, James Hair, Leroy Hair and wife Luella, Leland Hair; her sister, Ella Mae Davis; 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded by her husband, Dave Hair; three brothers, Charley, Dick and Clifford Davis; two sisters, Maggie Jane Pickup and Lucille Davis.
