Mary Janell Hardy, 81, passed away on Sunday, July 4, 2021 at her home surrounded by family. She was born on January 20, 1940, the daughter of Tonie Ball and Jannie (Casey) Ball.  Mary married Frank W. Hardy on June 23, 1957, in Pryor, Oklahoma.  She made a wonderful home for her family, raising three daughters.  Frank preceded her in death in May of 2011.  She enjoyed putting together jigsaw puzzles, reading and crocheting blankets for her family.  Mary loved traveling whenever she could.  She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who will surely live on in all the memories she leaves to them.

Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 12, 2021 in the Fort Gibson National Cemetery with her beloved husband, Frank.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday, July 11, 2021.  To leave a personal message to her family, please see her Tribute at www.shipmansfuneralhome.com.  Arrangements are under the direction of Shipman’s Funeral & Cremation Service.

Mary is survived by her daughters, Debbie Greene and Michael Smullen of Pryor, OK; Delores Carr and husband, Randy of Sand Springs, OK; Catherine Ricks and husband, Matt of Claremore, OK; brother, George Ball and wife, Rose of Pryor, OK; sister-in-law, Linda Ball of Pryor, OK; grandchildren, Tammy, Ashley, Monica, Charity, Vanessa, Adam and Brittany; 13 great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Tonie and Jannie Ball; her brother, Leo Ball; sister, Katie Smith; and step mother, Minnie Ball.
