Mary Lou White, a cherished homemaker who touched the hearts of many with her kindness and warmth. Mary was born on January 11, 1938, in Henryetta, Oklahoma, and peacefully passed away on June 22, 2024, in Pryor, Oklahoma. Mary’s life was a tapestry of love, family, and dedication. Throughout most of her life, she found joy in creating a loving home for her family as a devoted homemaker. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her household as she spread kindness wherever she went. A woman of diverse talents and passions, Mary ventured into the world of accounting where she dedicated many years of hard work. Later in life, she embraced a new challenge by obtaining her realtor license in her 70s, showcasing her determination and drive. One of Mary’s greatest joys was cooking; she lived in various countries throughout her life and enjoyed cooking dishes from the various countries she was living in at the time. Her culinary creations were not only delicious but also a reflection of her adventurous spirit and open heart. Family and friends held a special place in Mary’s heart. Her talent for sewing brought beauty and warmth to those around her, just like the love she sewed into every stitch. She married Gary Dean White, Sr. on July 2, 1955. In their younger married years, Mary shared melodies with her husband Gary as they played together in a country western band—a harmonious partnership both on and off the stage. Mary leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will be cherished by all who knew her.
