Matthew Wesley Arnold, 22, of Claremore, passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 in Claremore, Oklahoma. Matt was born on June 11, 1999 in Claremore; the son of Jeromi Todd Arnold and Amanda Renae Keener (Jones). After graduating from Pryor High School, he went on to dispatch for the Pryor Police Department and later became a dispatcher for GRDA. He was looking forward to a career in law enforcement. He was a member of North Star church in Pryor and was well known for having a servant’s heart, always there and helping others. He enjoyed hunting and building AR’s. Matt loved all of his family, his brothers and sister. He leaves behind many wonderful memories for all to cherish. A loving son, brother, grandson, uncle, and friend, he was a blessing to all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services for Matt will be held on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mayes County Fairgrounds Event Center with Andrew Rehbein officiating. Jeromi Arnold, Justin Jones, David Lee Arnold, Shannin Arnold, Kevin Dollison, Jake Gladson, and Shawn Botsford will serve as casket bearers. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 1, 2021 in the Shipman’s Funeral Home Chapel. He is survived by his father, Jeromi Arnold and wife Erica of Pryor, Oklahoma; his mother, Amanda Keener and husband Eric of Ohio; his brothers, Justin Jones of Ohio, David Arnold, Zaiden Arnold, Mason Arnold and Levi Arnold, all of Pryor; his sister, Lydia Arnold of Pryor; his nephew, Thomas Jones of Vinita; his grandmother, Deborah Kramer of Pryor; his paternal great grandmother, Patsy Hill; his maternal grandparents, Tim and Pam Roux of Ohio; his uncle, John Markland and wife Julie of Adair, Oklahoma, and Shannin Arnold of Pryor; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his brother, Jonathan Arnold; and grandfathers, Allen R. Kramer, Tom Arnold, and Doug Jones.
