Michael Gene "Mike" Bissell of Pryor died Jan. 19. He was 61
He grew up as the oldest of six children, he attended Pryor High School, Northeastern Oklahoma A & M and Northeastern State University.
From 1972 to 1974, he enjoyed playing high school football as a Pryor Tiger, until a game injury prevented from playing any contact sports. He then took up track and enjoyed running.
Mike's favorite passtime was riding his Harley, and he also enjoyed fishing, open fire pit grilling, fireworks, and growing and sharing gladiolas and iris.
During his life, he worked at Neese Steel, MidAmerica Yarn Mill, Interplastics, Sunshine Nursery, Nipak, and family owned Southland Villa Apartments.

SURVIVORS: Three brothers, Denny of Pryor, Jay of Broken Arrow, and Steven of Pryor, and two sisters, Susan Rogalsky of Muskogee and Carol Teehee of Lake Suzy, Florida.
